Reviews and Ratings
I had a great stay at this hotel! The rooms were lovely, clean, and quiet, with a very comfortable bed and a surprisingly spacious bathroom. The breakfast was tasty, and the lighting and furniture in the room were beautifully handled. However, there were some issues with handling a complaint that led to an inconvenience during my stay.
The hotel's rooms onto the garden were luxurious as promised, but the view turned out to be an air shaft with rooms looking directly into ours. The service was very friendly and professional, especially the bartender who helped us navigate the challenging streets in the canal area. The location had a WOW factor and made our trip unforgettable, being in a lovely, convivial area within easy walking distance of all the main museums. Facilities were top-notch, providing everything we needed.
I stayed at the Annex down the street. The room had lots of plush reds and purples, just like in the pictures although it was a bit small. The Royal Split level Suite was cozy.
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, though small, were comfortably decorated with gorgeous bathrooms and nice linens. However, the inside view turned out to be an air shaft, making privacy an issue. The service was exceptional; the staff was welcoming, friendly, and thorough. The location was excellent, central yet peaceful, along a beautiful canal. The dining experience was pleasant with a beautiful breakfast selection. Overall, a nice stay with some drawbacks.
I found the hotel to be in a great location with tons of great restaurants nearby. The rooms were nice but a bit small for the price, and the Breakfast/Bar could use some renovation to freshen up the tired look. The service was exceptional, with staff who were friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. The location was amazing, especially being close to Anne Frank's house and having convenient access to trams for easy exploration of Amsterdam. Dining offered a good selection, though some items incurred an extra charge. Overall, a pleasant stay with some room for improvement.
The hotel offers spacious and well-decorated rooms with a true Amsterdam atmosphere, ensuring a clean and comfortable stay. The location is perfect, nestled within the charming 9 streets and close to major tourist attractions. While the dining experience had some drawbacks, the service was exceptional and the facilities were top-notch.
My stay at the hotel was delightful. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my time there. The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean, and cozy, especially the Royal Suite, which was quite spacious. However, the lack of ventilation was a bit inconvenient as I had to step outside frequently. The location was perfect, just a short walk from various tram stops and major attractions, making it easy to explore the city. The dining options were fantastic, except for limited choices for non-meat eaters. Overall, a great value for the money with exceptional service.
The hotel is a highly rated gem overlooking the canal, with rooms so inviting that leaving becomes a challenge. The service goes beyond expectations, ensuring a memorable stay. The location is central yet serene, allowing easy access to top attractions. The dining experience is a culinary delight featuring traditional local delicacies.
The hotel is situated in a wonderful location in central Amsterdam, offering a great starting point for exploring the city. While the rooms were a bit small for three people and had a strong smoking smell, the service was exceptional with thoughtful surprises. The dining experience, although with a delicious breakfast, fell short in terms of value for money.
